Students seeking transcripts from closed schools that were previously registered with the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools should review the closed school list below to determine who to contact about their transcript. If the list below indicates that your transcript is maintained by the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools, you may obtain a copy of the records by submitting the Student Records Request Form (see below) to the Board. The form may be emailed, faxed or mailed to the office using the contact information at the top of the request form. There is no fee for certified copies of records. Please allow a 2 week turnround time for processing.
Please be advised that any request to access student records or transcripts may require the Board to access and review confidential personal information in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Chapter 1347. If we cannot locate your student records in our archives, please contact the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools to request a possible transcript or diploma recreation. Students must be able to provide our staff sufficient records from their personal records to make the recreation possible. This may include grade cards, transcripts, diplomas or other documents concerning your education that you have in your possession. Please contact the Board to determine if this is a viable option.
Please be advised that if you have questions concerning students loans or financial aid records, the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools does not have jurisdiction over these matters. For questions about financial aid please follow this link: Financial Aid Questions
